About Examination Cell:

Conduct of examinations in the autonomous system is an important academic activity to check the ability of the student’s performance. For this purpose, the Examination cell of Sri Vasavi Institute of Engineering and Technology has been constituted to supervise the examinations and further evaluate the student performance, which are headed by the Controller of Examinations (CoE).  At each stage of the evaluation process, including Continuous Internal Evaluation (CIE) and Semester End Examinations (SEE), COE along with his staff meticulously monitor the performance of students by giving suitable guidelines to various departments in the institution time to time.

Important activities of the examination cell are as follow:

  • Conducting of all the end semester examinations of the college.
  • Conducting examination process which includes, scheduling of the examination dates; providing guidelines to set the question papers; collecting the question papers from the examiners in the stipulated time, printing the question papers and keeping them in sealed covers, conducting the examinations, valuating, disclosure of answer booklets and announcing the results. All these activities are done under strict confidentiality and security.
  • Releasing and communicating all related notifications timely to the departments
  • Pooling CIE marks from the departments well before the stipulated time.
  • Issuing the Grade Cards, Transcripts and Provisional Certificates as per timelines.
  • Maintaining the confidentiality of the examination process.
  • Holding meeting of the Malpractice Committee and issuing all the necessary guidelines for the smooth conduct of examinations.
  • Adhering strictly to all the instructions and guidelines directed by the university regarding Autonomous Colleges’ Examinations.
  • Coordinating with the Higher Authorities to implement the autonomous discipline as per the UGC and JNTUK guidelines.
  • Announcing the examination dates, fees and other related information through notification.
  • Facilitating Paper Setting and evaluation and revaluation Processes.
  • Providing and Publication of rank lists annually.
  • Maintaining strict confidentiality and security of the all examination related matters and documents.
