Department of Mathematics
Mathematics is the branch of science that deals with logic, decision-making, assumptions, deductions, clarity of thought, and the ability to solve problems in a calculative manner. It is employed as a key instrument in diverse fields such as social, life and medical sciences, engineering, and technology.
Most of the innovations introduced worldwide and every technological product developed by humans are byproducts of science and mathematical applications. In the universe, many real-world problems can be formulated as mathematical models to analyze situations and predict the future. Engineering Mathematics is the art of applying mathematics to solve real-world problems. It combines mathematical theory, practical engineering, and scientific computing to address today’s technological challenges.
Mainly, it offers students an opportunity to study applied mathematics as essential components of modern engineering. By combining courses in applied mathematics, statistics, physical sciences, and engineering, a student may individualize a program of study focusing on theory, applications, or both. It provides a broad foundation for graduate studies in branches of engineering, as well as in mathematics, and can prepare students for a career in specific sectors of the industry as employees or as entrepreneurs in business.

The Department of Physics has been effectively functional. It stands focused on its ideals of imparting knowledge and preparing students towards achieving academic excellence through the acquisition of core competence for engineering professionals. The department possesses highly qualified and experienced staff.
The faculty handles ENGINEERING PHYSICS (EP) course for MECH, CIVIL, ECE, CSE, CSE (AI&ML) branches. The Engineering Physics course covers the fundamental concepts of Wave optics interference , diffraction ,polarisation , Crystal structure and X-Ray diffraction ,Dielectric materials and magnetic materials, Quantum mechanics and free electron theory and Semiconductors. The courses have been approved by the BOS Committee. The ENGINEERINGPHYSICS LAB experiments were designed in connection with the theory taught in the classroom and also based on the future academic requirements of the engineering freshman.

The aim is to produce highly sought after and knowledgeable graduates for pursuing careers with academia, industry, and government. The chemistry department is facilitated with a water testing laboratory, in which various parameters related to water and its quality can be analyzed as per standards. This lab is established aiming to provide service to society.
