A two day workshop on “Ethical Hacking Workshop’’ was organized by department of Computer Science & Engineering from 18-09-2014 to 19-09-2014.The objective of the workshop is to improve the knowledge skills of the students in the field of Ethical Hacking. Sri D. Sai Sathish Founder & CEO of Indian Servers acted as a resource person. Mr. Md. Ameer raza and Mr.S.C.Sahoo acted as coordinators for the workshop. A total of 149 students from III and IV year CSE actively participated and interacted with the resource person.

The first day session started with the inauguration of the workshop. Honoroble correspondent sri Kaky kumar babu garu , Executive director sri D. Baba garu, principal Dr. K.Ramesh garu and Sri S.V.C.Gupta, HOD , CSE and the resource person Sri D.Sai satish lightened the lamp. Management members,principal and HOD,CSE appreciated the efforts being taken by the department to conduct the workshop & also told that such type of program surely build confidence specifically in the student community. Sri Md.Ameer raza ,coordinator of workshop was briefed about the training programme & its importance specifically for the students.

Later the resource person D.Sai satish gave insight of the following topics to the students.
• Phishing
• Key loggers
• Trojans & RAT
• Firewalls
• Sniffers
On the second day of workshop, the following topics were covered.
• Removal of Viruses without Antivirus
• Antivirus detection mechanism
• Facebook sniffers
• Information gathering
• Google Hacking
• Websites Hacking
The two day program ended on September 19, 2014. Principal Dr.K.Ramesh garu and S.V.C.Gupta garu, was present on the valedictory function of the program.Sri S.C.Sahoo presented the closing remarks of the workshop. In the program participants shared their views & also provided feedback of the two day program. Later the participation certificates along with the book “Hacking S3crets” written by D. Sai Satish were issued to the participated students.
